Individual Therapy is offered virtually to residents of Texas.

Individual therapy offers a dedicated space to explore the patterns, experiences, and relationships that have shaped how you show up in the world. Many clients come to therapy feeling stuck in recurring relationship dynamics, overwhelmed by emotional reactivity, or carrying the weight of family-of-origin and intergenerational trauma. Together, we work to understand these patterns at their root rather than simply managing surface-level symptoms.

My approach integrates attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and nervous system regulation to support lasting change. In our sessions, we may explore early relational experiences, identify triggers, and develop greater awareness of how your body responds to stress and connection. Through a combination of insight-oriented dialogue and practical regulation tools, you will build the capacity to respond with clarity rather than reactivity, strengthen boundaries, and move toward more secure and fulfilling relationships.

This work is collaborative, intentional, and paced with care, designed to help you feel more grounded within yourself and more connected in the relationships that matter most.

What to Expect

  • I offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation call to help you determine whether we’re a good fit. This brief conversation gives you the opportunity to share what brings you to therapy, ask questions about my approach, and learn more about what working together would look like. Finding the right therapeutic relationship is important, and this call is designed to help you make an informed and comfortable decision.

  • If we determine we’re a good fit, we will move forward by scheduling your first appointment. Most clients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions. Given the depth-oriented and attachment-focused nature of my work, weekly sessions are often recommended to support consistency and meaningful progress. However, I frequently work with individuals who have full schedules, and biweekly sessions can also be effective. The frequency we choose at the start is flexible and can evolve over time, we may begin weekly and transition to biweekly as progress is made or adjust based on your needs and scheduling availability.

  • Our work begins with exploring your goals, relationship history, family background, and the patterns contributing to your current challenges. This initial session, often called an intake, helps me understand the full context of your experiences and sets the foundation for our work together. From there, subsequent sessions are tailored to your unique therapeutic goals, providing a collaborative, personalized approach to help you create meaningful and lasting change.

  • I take a collaborative approach to therapy, where you are the driver of your life and I serve as your guide in the process. I provide direct, practical guidance while creating a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment. In sessions, I often assign exercises or “homework” to help you practice new skills, challenge unhelpful patterns, and reinforce the work we do together. My goal is to help you gain insight, build emotional regulation, and make meaningful, lasting changes in your relationships and life

Frequently Asked Questions

  • At this time, I provide individual therapy only. While I do not offer couples, family, or child therapy, my training in attachment, relationship dynamics, and family systems strongly informs the work I do with individuals. Many clients seek support related to romantic relationships, parenting, or complex family dynamics, and we address these areas within the context of individual therapy.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form to schedule a consultation call, we’ll talk through the next steps, answer any questions you have, and schedule our first appointment if we’re a good fit.

  • I specialize in attachment-based, trauma-informed therapy that goes beyond symptom management. Rather than focusing only on present challenges, I help clients understand the relational and intergenerational patterns shaping their emotional responses and relationships. By integrating insight-oriented work with nervous system regulation and somatic approaches, I support lasting, meaningful change, not just temporary coping strategies.

  • I currently accept Aetna and United Healthcare. My private pay rate for individual therapy sessions is $175.

If I am not in-network with your insurance plan, you may be able to receive reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to verify whether your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits.

  • There are many reasons therapists choose whether or not to contract with insurance companies. Insurance plans often require a mental health diagnosis, may limit the length or frequency of sessions, and can influence aspects of treatment planning. Some therapists choose to remain private pay or out-of-network to maintain greater flexibility in their clinical approach and provide care that is not restricted by insurance guidelines.

Additionally, insurance reimbursement rates and administrative requirements can significantly impact the time and energy available for each client. By structuring their practices differently, therapists are often better able to maintain manageable caseloads, sustain their work long-term, and remain fully present and engaged in sessions. My goal is to provide intentional, individualized treatment that best supports your needs while also offering in-network options when available.

  • A superbill is a detailed receipt for services that includes the information your insurance company needs to process a claim for potential reimbursement. If you have out-of-network benefits, you can submit the superbill directly to your insurance provider. Reimbursement rates vary by plan, so it’s important to confirm your specific benefits with your insurance company.

  • ou can contact your insurance provider by calling the number on the back of your insurance card and asking the following questions:

    • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

    • What is my deductible, and has it been met?

    • What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?

    • Is there a limit to the number of sessions covered?

    • Do I need pre-authorization for outpatient therapy?
